The Syrian Penal Code (Arabic: Ω‚Ψ§Ω†ΩˆΩ† Ψ§Ω„ΨΉΩ‚ΩˆΨ¨Ψ§Ψͺ Ψ§Ω„Ψ³ΩˆΨ±ΩŠ) was the criminal code of Syria. It was promulgated in 1949 and enacted on 22 June 1949.cite-ref-1[1] The criminal code consists of 756 articles.
